DigitalBridge Communications has signed a contract with Liberty University and Virginia School of the Arts to use the schools’ broadcast licenses to provide wireless high-speed Internet access throughout the Lynchburg area.
Meanwhile, Congress has approved a $220,000 grant for LU to explore ways to expand the wireless technology. U.S. Rep. Tom Perriello, D-5th District, announced the funding on December 15th.
