The doors are not only closed, but all signs have been removed from the building.
This is a loss for the area, as Schmokies served up real smokehouse BBQ that was a favorite of many in the area.

I worked at schmokies for a while until they closed down. I had alot of fun working there. I just recently heard that schmokies is suppose to open back up soon and they want as many people that use to work to come back and work. I dont know but I may go back and work there. It would be nice if we was to open back up.
That’s cool Amanda. I really thought the food at schmokies was great.
