“These three outstanding young tenors who are building major careers in opera houses all over the world will present an inspiring and entertaining program of the world’s greatest arias and some of the most popular songs ever written,” according to Artistic Director Craig Fields.
Francesco Milioto, who has conducted five productions for Opera on the James, will be the featured pianist
American tenor Scott Ramsay (Chicago Lyric Opera) appeared in Three Terrific Tenors, Opera on the James very first production on November 13, 2005. The concert was sold out long before show time, and the production put the company on the map. He will be joined by outstanding Korean artist Jin Ho Hwang, a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, and Mexican/American tenor Gerardo Ramos, who has been acclaimed for his recent appearances all over South America.
Mr. Ramsay is “thrilled to be back to perform in the Three Tenors Encore! with Opera on the James. To see how the company has grown since our very first concert is very exciting. I am looking forward to the gracious audiences and working with two new tenors and Maestro Francesco Milioto at the piano!”
