New Amtrak Service Exceeds Expectations

New passenger rail service out of Lynchburg continues to beat the state’s expectations. A report from the Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation shows more than 9,900 riders used the new Amtrak service in November. That exceeds the target by about 140-percent.
