Loading ...The mission of the Lynchburg Literacy Council, Inc., formed in 1985, is to reduce the number of functionally illiterate adults in the city of Lynchburg, VA by providing free tutoring, including books and supplies, at the lower literacy levels in basic reading and/or English as a second language. The LLC seeks to recruit and train volunteer tutors who deliver one-on-one instruction with an emphasis on confidence-building and functional life skills.
