It is an affiliate of Habitat For Humanity International and was established in Lynchburg, Virginia in 1988. The organization has built 268 new homes, housed over 365 adults and over 534 children. The process of building homes for qualified families continues through the generosity of the Lynchburg business community, churches in the area and local benefactors. The mission of Habitat for Humanity is not just building houses but building lives and communities one house at a time.
