The restaurant sporting the jersey number of Michael Vick that opened in Wyndhurst not long ago now sports chains on its doors and signs stating that the lease on the building has been terminated as of December 27, 2009.
The building owner is Jamborita II LLC, according to property records.
While no comment has been forthcoming from either the property owner nor the restaurant business owners, there have been rumors around Lynchburg that the environment and activity outside the restaurant premises had something to do with the termination of the lease. But since no comment from the parties has occurred, no one knows for sure.
December 30th update:
Owners of the Lynchburg restaurant “7″ are hoping to re-open, after the building’s owners padlocked it shut last week. On Wednesday afternoon, a judge ordered them to remove the chains, after the restaurant’s owners filed a temporary injunction. The case is set to be heard January 7th.
